Poly(oxy-1,2-ethanediyl), alpha-isodecyl-omega-hydroxy- is a surfactant with emulsifying, moderate foaming, decontaminating, wetting It is suitable for use in laundry, textiles, hard surface cleaning, paint, carpet cleaning, hand dishwashing, and institutional and industrial cleaning formulations. In addition, they are effective emulsifiers and emulsifier blends in pesticide formulations. They are used as HLB variables in most formulations and show good emulsification properties over a wide HLB range.

Uses
Poly(oxy-1,2-ethanediyl), α-isodecyl-ω-hydroxy- is a universal agent for wetting cement grains during the production of concrete. The product has excellent resistance to hard water. It may be used in mixtures with other non-ionic auxiliary agents and in mixtures with anionic and cationic surfactants. The product is also compatible with the majority of concrete admixtures.
